A: Your compatible charge cable will change depending on a number of factors, including brand, model and age of the device!

To give you a rough idea, Apple devices will be compatible with Lightning cables only, which are great, cheap iPhone chargers.

Whereas devices that run off of an Android operating system (Brands like, Samsung, Oppo, Nokia, Motorola, Aspera etc.) will either use Micro-USB cables, or Type-C cables.

Generally, if you buy Oppo or Samsung phones, these brands will utilize Type-C cables, but only in their higher end models.

Still not sure what cable works best for your device? Contact us straight away and we will get back to you with all the information you need!

A: A Powerbank is essentially a portable battery, with charging ports integrated into the device. This allows users to charge their phone on the go. Powerbanks are some of the best portable, wireless chargers on the market.

The best Powerbanks are perfect for outdoors fanatics who love to go hiking, camping, fishing, or are just in situations where there is no easy access to power outlets.

A: Yes most, if not all smart phone devices, currently utilize either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technology which will allow you to connect any wireless product, designed for mobile devices.

A: If your device isn’t connecting to the internet, there could be a few different reasons.

Wi-FI: Check your settings menu on your device to see if your Wi-Fi is turned on and is connected to the correct modem at your home or workplace. If you cannot find the correct modem among the list of available connections, or you are connected but are still not receiving internet connection, then the problem lies with the modem. Try giving the modem a restart and if the problem persists, contact your internet provider as soon as possible.

3G/4G/5G Mobile Network: If you aren’t near an available Wi-Fi connection and cannot connect to the internet via your mobile network, the first thing you can try is turning Airplane mode on your device off and on. This cuts all connections and restarts them, sometimes refreshing your device.

If the problem persists then try checking your sim card is connected correctly, if it is then the problem may lie with your network provider.

A: There are a couple of factors to consider when traveling overseas.

Network: Generally, most network providers have “Roaming” options which will allow you to use their services internationally, at extra cost. If your network provider does not offer a roaming function, then your device will rely on Wi-Fi to access the internet only.

Charging: If you’re travelling, there is a big chance that the power outlets in other countries will be different. Therefore, we suggest researching the power outlet type in the country you are travelling to and purchasing the appropriate travel adapter.

A: Upon receiving a new phone, most brands outright mobile phones will implement a partially charged battery so you can access your new device as soon as possible. Although it is tempting to jump straight into your new device, we suggest putting it on charge first until fully charged. This extends the life of the battery and avoids a stinting of the devices power.

A: In place of some affordable wireless headphones, a Bluetooth speaker is a great alternative for parties or greater ambience. A Bluetooth speaker is a device that requires no wired connections and will act as a louder, better quality and portable source of audio output when connected to your mobile devices.

Bluetooth speakers will connect to your device, only if your phone has Bluetooth connection capabilities. To check, or turn on your Bluetooth connectivity, try browsing through your settings menu, or dragging your finger down from the top of the screen. This will reveal multiple settings including a Bluetooth on and off button, continue to then connect to your speaker which you will recognize by name. Buy a Bluetooth Speaker today and you won’t regret it!

At Mobiles4u, we understand that when you buy phone accessories online it’s difficult to understand how some are designed to work.

A wireless charger stand is a device designed to connect to your computer, which simultaneously charges your device while giving it a cradle so you can still use it without having to hold your device. This provides a great hands-free viewing angle!

A: Choosing the best wireless headphones for you is important and before making your decision you need to consider a couple of different lifestyle elements.

There are different types of wireless headphones, one of which is the popular in-ear fit. This means that the headphones sit more inside your ear and are a lot less bulky. This option is great for people who are doing advanced workouts or who want to keep a lower profile when answering calls in public or at work.

Another option is more of a traditional styled wireless set of headphones. These are a lot bigger but arguably provide a better sound quality and is suited for casual exercises who are out on a run, lifting weights at the gym or planning on listening to music at home.

A: As 5G has been recently announced, 4G connectivity is becoming more and more common, even in non-smartphones. But only some non-smartphones are currently 4G compatible.

Most non-smartphones will provide 3G compatibility, but to check exactly what cellular connection your device has, access your Cellular menu in your settings and the information should be accessible to you from there. Currently, it is much easier to purchase a smartphone because, for example, even cheap Samsung phones can access 4G connections.
